EXPERIENCE

Leasing

I have drafted and negotiated leases, subleases and ground leases in regional malls, strip centers, stand-alone locations, and office buildings for national and regional clients including, among others, grocers, retailers, health and wellness businesses, bankers and restaurateurs.

In-House Counsel

At Microsoft I supported the Real Estate and Facilities group. I helped acquire land for data centers and negotiated vendor contracts. I also supported the transportation team for a connector bus fleet rollout. At REI, I oversaw real estate growth and managed its portfolio of owned properties. I also supported the supply chain team when it acquired and opened a new distribution center, in addition to leasing, acquisitions and dispositions of retail and industrial properties.

I was a member of the executive committee that was charged with locating, acquiring and designing the new corporate headquarters in Bellevue. I also oversaw all real estate and construction related litigation and supported the outdoor programs that sponsor and host outdoor related events. I supported the business development team and helped them acquire two separate companies.

As a result of my experience both inside and outside of companies, I have participated in strategic planning at the highest levels, from concept through to implementation.
